Thanks for the reply but does not seem to help, it powers up but then seems to freeze.
The power bar window appears, the next window appears, input and mode, and then it freezes. It indicates that Midnight Mode is also selected but I don't think I did this, don't know if that means anything (probably not?)
The power supply to the nVi has not been turn off for a couple of months and has worked well until today.
I was under the impression the software can be re-booted in some way.

brett 10, have turned my n-vi off quite a few occations its always come back on no trouble, in fact often have to re-boot mine to sort out the little hic-cups it throws at me.

Thanks for the info, it powers up and then it seems to hang after the power bar window. It seems to get stuck and completely freezes.

S'funny but mine threw a wobbler tonight as well.

Aside from the normal daily reboots to sort out the SPDIF input, I got the rarer "help me! Please turn me off" message. Tragically when it came back the DAB/FM module was totally fucked. These n-Vi's really are piles of poo at times.

I'm waiting patiently for a code drop for the SPDIF issues - any news on this AV or Adam? Mind you if the DAB is toast then the replacement box will be my fifth. Maybe that will have working firmware? Quality control indeed ... Red Face

So no news on the new firmware update then, AV? Does this mean a) there is a delay in the release or b) you missed my question about two inches up the page?

Ta! Fingers crossed that it is soonish!

Is there some deep reset I can try on my DAB? It is playing one station only and failing to find any others on a scan. Text display/details of the one station are not showing. FM set at 000.00 MHz and will only tune up to 000.10 MHz. No options can be chosen via the FM menu.

That sounds very similar to the problem I encountered with my brand new Nvi. There was a single weak station (Radio 2) that was being received on DAB and Fm and that my dealer had tried to tune into when he was testing the unit. It could not find any other stations upon rescanning nor would it accept direct input and it showed 0 kbts signal strength, despite the prescence of an external multi element aerial. Ditto on FM with 0% sigmnal and no ability to scan, store or find any other stations. Maybe my problem was not so isolated?
