Never fear, Aussies will always be welcome in Scotland.

Interesting isn't it. First I even knew this scheme existed.
Though I did know, being only interested in sports, as suggested by Deane, that I qualifiy to play for Scotland through my Grandfather.
What at I am not sure.
Its a funny old world, my son has no interest in his forbears at this stage, but he has Scots, Irish, English, German and Russian blood.
Seems quite at home with them all!!

More like hard work on a bad day, but the most glorious uplifting feeling when played well.

Wish you were all here today as Mackaby Diva [The Diva] won the
Melbourne Cup for the third year in a row.
Grown men did cry as did the Bookmaker who paid out over 5 million dollars.
For the racing fraternity among you "the Diva" is a 7 year old mare and the Cup being a handicap race, she carried 58kg.
The learned ones had suggested that anything over 50 kg would be an impossibility.
So she joins Phar Lap as an immortal of the turf.
Incidentally the cup is sponsored by Emirates and they had some lovely ladies on the podium.

If the "lovely ladies" were carrying 58 kilos they'd be arrested.
