I have just done my bit to stimulate the economy by buying some British made Hifi equipment before the VAT rise next January. Smile

Sorry ... haven't you heard? The Government are asking all loyal citizens to hand in their solid aluminium Wiltshire hifi so that they can be melted down to make suitcases for impoverished bankers to take their bonuses home for Christmas.

Glad for the support but this may not help as many of the aforementioned aluminium cases are made by Haliburton that well known US manufacturer, security and philanthropic corporation.

Happily for me I can get the VAT back but if I couldn't I still would have "done my bit".
