I was working in Lagos in 1980-something & the Pope was about to visit.
In true Nigerian style, the ladies of the night (& all day & lunchtime) decided to celebrate & offered free sex for the night of the great man's arrival.

The Lagos Times - a full sized broadsheet - had a large front page picture of two well endowed ladies, one with a mini skirt that was an inch above the crotch line, the other in a wet T-Shirt with the finest pair of hat pegs known to man.
And the biggest boldest banner headlines ...............
