How come they're not classed as junk food then, but chips are?

Fritz Von My local Turkish Pizza & Kebab Chappie uses fresh salad and home made dough all the time, fresh cheese, salami, rhubarb, ham, seafood, etc, Why is it Junk Nosh then?

Aggis!

For a salesman you obviously have a very short memory John?

Fritz Von Is Cavvers as total Plonker or is he just part time?*

P.S. I'm both amused and honoured that after well over a year you've finally decided to comment (boredom I expect?) and I for one now consider this subject closed, so if you wish to annoy folk with your twaddle please do it elsewhere, or I shall be obliged to continue using your name in vain as you so succinctly put it Dear*

Having always been a loyal taxpayer and legal worker I was quite interested in a report just shown here on the local telly thingy. In January VAT goes up here generally from 16% to 19%, though this doesn't include food! Food that is purchased in a shop remains at 7%, though if cooked in restaurant (and eaten there) will soon be 19%. If you take that food away (roast taters in goose fat or fish & chips for instance)it's still 7% and will remain so. All drinks (excluding milk) are not classed as food (even beer now unfortuantely) so bottled water will also cost 3% VAT more.

Fritz Von Taxing stuff indeed*

The real crunchers will be utility services and boozers, taxman puts it up, brewery puts it up, same old bollocks.

P.S. In my locals I would guess that a good 35%+ of regulars don't drink booze anyway, for those pedants oot there, innit*

N.B. I met a geezer the other night who's a Doctor (Hospital) and has a rather interesting condition where his body lacks the enzyme that deals with breaking down alcohol, meaning that if he has a skinfull on Sunday night he could still be over the top driving next thursday. At first I thought he was having a larf (you know me) but apparently it's kosher*
Posted on: 20 November 2006 by Berlin Fritz
Had an e-mail from an old chum in the UK earlier who unlike 99% on this forum seriously knows what he's talking about when it comes to er, music, and he's Chuffed to Thingy over the new Beatles thingy which he got this moaning.

Fritz Von I bet Parry buys (aqcuires) it too when everybody else says it's good!*

Fritz von Some people have all the luck eh? What is this condition and how can I get it?
Posted on: 20 November 2006 by Berlin Fritz
Firstly you have to become a Jew Our Acad, are there any Synagogues around your way John?

Regards,

Fritz Von They're allowed to drink at 13 you see*
Posted on: 20 November 2006 by acad tsunami
No synagogues round here - its all catholics and Born Agains and they are not allowed to do anything until they are married innit* The local beer is ok (San Miguel)and truck loads can be had for a few pennies. I've bought passable french wine here for not much a bottle. Personally I hardly ever drink alcohol so this is no big deal for me.

There are a few foreigners here however, (mostly american)who spend most of the time propping up bars permanently pissed and permanently bored and cheap booze is a definite attraction. Many stayed on after the US bases closed up as they were addicted to the nightlife and the power that a few dollars gave them in lieu of goodlooks, charm and a good heart. Some have a nice little business going, firstly they get a naive girlfriend and promise her a life of luxury in the US and financial support for her family but insist on taking her cherry before marriage (pre-marital sex is very rare in the Philippines)then they dump her cruelly bringing shame on her and her family, then they tell them they can escape the shame by going to Manila where a friend will give her work and the poor girl is met in Manila by the 'friend' thinking she will be a waitress and ends up forced to work as a bargirl. They know that no Filipino man will marry a non-virgin and they want to support their family financially to redeem themselves so they become hookers. The 'unscrupulous chap' gets $100 or so from the bar owner and this keeps him in cheap beer until his next victims comes along. Personally I think these misogonistic misanthrops should be beaten to a pulp then kicked out. Sometimes the girls families give these guys a beating and some have been blasted with shotguns and always the US embassy goes ballistic and pressures the local police and courts to convict and dish out the severest punishment to anyone who harms one of their own. Mostly the families never get to know the full details and they are proud their daughter is doing 'so well' in the capital and sending money home every month. It breaks my heart. If ever one of these pervs (be they users, rapists, pedos, liars and/or cheats) comes anywhere near my zone of influence I have descreet words with certain locals and said perv is taken aside and words are whispered into said perv's ear and said perv leaves town for fear of a good head pinging (mr.Smith's fame is a legend here).

Acad von its like the wild west innit*

A Well good post Our Acad, though being a Londoner I'm unfortunately not too surprised by it all.

Fritz Von Started watching 1984 last night with Hurt, Burton and amazingly a very fresh young Gregor Fisher, though I couldn't keep awake as it was far past my beddy-byes time.

N.B. Sky News World Channel of the Year & Universe has just done an updated report over todays train accident here in Berlin stating that 8 have been injured, 1 minute ago local news here states that 33 have been hurt (just an idea of the crap they swill out on a daily basis (this happenned many hours ago):

Russian Spys my arse, anything to avoid real News* If I was him I'd be well nervous of getting a bleedin NHS Superbug that kills thousands in the UK annually (lest we forget) he'd be safer in Siberia*

Arabian Rat poison available in any decent store, doesn't go well with Sushi, Mafia shite plain & simple* (CIA even, they're daft enough).

The astounding & unique beauty of Iceland is surprise surprise being systematically destroyed at present by er, dams and aluminium plants along with a few individuals greed, nothing new there then* One of those self-same individuals is now likely to take over West Ham United Football Club very soon, so that's allright then.

Fritz Von Remember when Bush 'PROMISED' that he'd never touch Alaska 'Oil-wise' he lied, it's also getting ruined bigstyle.

It is for you Chaps afterall, don't forget this*

Mind you they don't hunt whales in the US.

Yes,

But first let's save the humans....

Fritz Von I was amused in the recent US election that the REPs were actually arguing over the Kosherness of some of the counting.

I didn't know the Republicans were complaining too.

In the last election nearly all the voting tallies squared with the exit polls, unlike 04' and 00'. They were within 1% of each other.

Two notable exceptions : Virginia and Montana, the two closest and the determiners as far as the balance of power in the senate.

In each case, exit polls had the Democtrat winning by almost 5%. The actual tally had them running neck and neck. So they tried to steal it, but couldn't come up with enough "deceased" voter's ballots or hack the machines enough without drawing suspicion.

Sorry to barge in.

Peace Out

BB OLD you Wine drinker you! Don't forget to mention that the US Election runners have a nice little habit of totally ignoring and not counting certain sections of foreign (proxy) votes, like the Military for instance if they're not needed (This was highlighted recently by Larry King) meaning that up to a million legal votes are not even taken into account for one reason or another (2 Jag's Dream). Regarding Iceland (I don't give a fuck about the Alaskan wilderness) non of the benefits land in Iceland, all cheap labour has been brought in to build these dams and smelting plants which are already poisoning and ruining pristine sights, eventually and subsequently cutting out it's main lifeline of tourism. The Icelandic National Bank has actually been sold to finance this malarky against major opposition (any politicians were simply fired and replaced with Our Micks Yes men).

Regards,

Fritz Von Fact is, I'm afraid I can't hear Blair bleating environment and C0 emissions for some strange reason, and the man's audacity to be all sad and upset over today's Lebanese politician's Murder is beyond even earlier Hypocritical double-bullshit-speak, innit.

P.S. The first dam finished in Iceland is reportdedly build on an unsafe fault:

Human's first eh?

You mean Our Mick's 5% John!

Check out the rules for the US Buying Oil from Canada, it's very interesting reading*

I Dunno sittin around all day bloggin on the internet!

Fritz Von Seeing Reid just having the audactiy to talk about controlling wayward kids is slowly hitting the real mark I feel. Short sharp shocks and get them into the army or other highly controllable situations disguised as care, the great old British tradition will be attempted again I fear*

You won't see any Blairs or Parrys or Reids there though*

P.S. Big Brother old Chap! What does Metzger mean in Spanish then? (sounds Latin orientated dunnit!) in German it means 'Master Butcher' (Wine?) I was just wondering John that's all, innit.

Cheers,

Fritz Von And would the Yanks and Brits be screaming their false-pity over the death of the Lebanese Politician today if the Israelis had been suspected of doing it? Syria has strongly denied it, as Moscow has denied the poisoning fiasco, and I tend to believe them both personally*

Fritz,

Metzger's is a local liquor store, on the west side of Santa Fe, an area of mostly latino and indio residents.

Cheers
