If going green is not a lifestyle

Hi,
has anyone experienced the DVD5's image going green, but the video connections are alright and no reset brings the old dear colours back?
Suggestions?
Thanks,
M.

What output are you using.
If BNC, are you sure you are not in RGB instead of component (or the opposite).
Is the image stable. If you unplug the R and blue, what do you get?

I am out of the DVD5 via BNC, and in the projector via RCA component (Y-Pb/Cb/Pr/Cr). In the projector I can't choose, nor in the DVD5 since if I change the setting in the setup menu the image disappears. But what's more, it was all well until the previous evening and nobody touched anything, except that I connected the rear speakers and so had to do things in the AV2 setup.
It's not the first time it happens. The other time I reset and turned off/on again and the martian hue disappeared. This time I'm left on Mars.

If I unplug any of the three, the image disappears. If I set the >Hi Def< menu >Colour<: RGB the image becomes reddish, if I set it to Y/Pb/Pr it becomes greenish. Any other position makes the image go off. I don't find any other setting possibility.
Help still needed.

Shame on me for my bad thoughts. The problem was the sh****ng, f***ing, blistered BNC/RCA adaptor - a faux contact.
