Naim Forum Mods introduce breath-testing

Naim Forum moderators today introduced a compulsory breath-testing regime for contributors. Instead of a password-based login system, members will now be required to breath into a tube that will determine whether they are sober enough to post.

This has caused outcry from some senior members who feel that their brands of single malt should not be considered alcohol because they started threads once about which single malt to buy.

The Forum Moderators also plan to introduce a simple English test for current and new members. The most vocal opposition to the proposed English testing is from the English.

Do you know I was thinking only the other day this is a bit like being down the pub, only with less laughs. And no darts. Cracking barmaid just handed me a drink though.

The breath test should not be used to interdict posting. Instead, a descriptive label would be added below the "(senior) member" status with one of the following:

  • all liquored up
  • dog breath alert
  • violets and roses
  • smells like new Naim kit
  • mint, no blemishes
