Free Macca disc with this weeks Mail on Sunday

Apparently there is a free Macca disc of him singing Beatles songs in this weeks Mail on Sunday.
It's a Live album recorded at an Ameoba store in LA.

I superpose the best bit is that they are Beatles tracks and not his own.

I have got a few ordered for fans on the Hoff forum.
One thing I wonder how much the Japanese and US eBayers would pay for this album as it won't be released over there.

Recorded at Amoeba and not released here? Interesting
I'll have to go down the street to Amoeba and see.
I figure Paul is just out having fun, doing what he likes to do. I've not heard any of his albums since mid 80s

I see someone on the Hoff forum is doing trades for cd's for the disc. Think he has bought 14 copies already.

Some of the guys even bought them of e-bay for 8GBP. I guess if you're a hard core Beatles fan that's ok.

You could sell them Paul McCartney loo roll over there for big bucks.

It is a very good disc and well worth the asking price - doesn't suprise that the rip offs have started on evil bay - best thing would be if Paul offered a free download to stop these shenanigans.

I left the paper in the shop and just got the CD and the New Look Live Magazine for the interview with Sir Macca.quote:Originally posted by BigH47:

I have a 14-track version of this set. The extra tracks are 'Nod Your Head' and 'House Of Wax'. Had it about a year or so. Can't remember the source.
Given that the 12-track incarnation is being offered free, there is presumably no problem with downloading it from a torrent site if you missed the newspaper inclusion.
