One difficult question!

Most if not all on this forum have an extended library of CD and/or vynils. Here's a tough one:
If you had to keep only 1 (yes just one) which one would it be and why?
I had to think a bit for that one. It would be easier if I had to choose one per category (rock, classical, jazz, etc.) but the idea is only 1 so here goes:
Selling England by the Pound for the music and the nostalgia!
Your turn!

In that case I'd take Save My Soul by Wimple Winch - possibly the greatest 45 in the history of 45s.

I'd try to sneak this tiny-winy box set in. (cardboard sleeves, five discs in a box not much bigger than one). Otherwise, disc 4 of the set.

Liverpool's The Cryin' Shames
Charles (Paul) Crane
Joey Keen
John (Ben) Bennett
Phil Roberts
George Robinson
Charlie Gallagher
Richard Routledge
Their third and final single September In The Rain was credited to Paul And Ritchie And The Crying Shames. Their previous two singles were, of course, just credited to the Cryin' Shames, but they changed it so they didn't get mixed up with a US group of the same name. After this great record, Paul Crane joined ex-Walker Brothers, Gary Leeds, in Gary Walker And Rain. Come On Back is the flip-side of September In The Rain on Decca F12483.
I hope you treasure your copy Mr Von Zipper - it goes in collector's circles for around £200

Some bright spark could put together a compilation album of our one-track choices!

Hmm - I'm not bright enough, but I know of a man who was - Phil Smee
Phil founded Bam Caruso in 1983 in St.Albans as an extension of Waldo's Records to re-issue long lost 60's gems. His suitably electric catalogue boasted albums by The Ghost, July, Hearts & Flowers, SRC, The Steppes, Nick Haeffner, The Seeds and more, but his crowning glory was Rubble: a set of compilations which together create a definitive overview of freakbeat and pop-psyche styles.
The set was original available as 20 or so vinyl records, but now there are two CD box sets containing 10 discs each. They are not identical to the original vinyl. The CDs collectively offering even more songs.

Mine would be Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Deja Vu.
Or Joanie Mitchell - Blue. I can't decide!!!
Btw, I like to keep the LP version, is that allowed?

You hit it, Deja Vu, vinyl!!!!

Strictly on the understanding I can borrow Bazz's Mozart with Uchida.....
Out of thousands of CDs this one get the most play.
But really I suspect I would burn to death whilst trying to decide.

Easy choice for me ....Steely Dan's awesome Countdown To Ecstasy ...(also the choice of broadcaster Danny Baker so I've read)
