Fred Simon LP086 Remember The River

Posted by: Simon Drake on 08 December 2006

To those of you who may have recently purchased LP086 Remember The River,

We have found that some of our most recent cut of Fred Simon LP086 are faulty.

We are currently in the process of repressing the record and have been assured that the fault was caused by a fluctuation in the power supply of our manufacturers equipment (NOT our MASTER)

Anyone who is experiencing random gaps or noises through the left channel on their Fred Simon LP is very welcome to return it direct to Naim HQ. Please attach a short note, so that we can identify you. Our address is:

Simon Drake
Naim Audio Ltd
Southampton Road

If you have any queries regarding the matter then please contact me at Naim Audio Ltd

All faulty LPs will be replaced with our brand new stock. My apologies.

I'm always the last to know ... alas, I have no turntable. Roll Eyes

But are you sure it wasn't caused by fluctuations in the Mohorovicic Discontinuity? Bad Moho mojo, as it were?

Or it may have been caused by Paul McCandless' oboe ... you know what Danny Kaye said about the oboe, don't you? "The oboe is an ill wind that no one blows good."

In any case, my apologies as well.

Thanks for asking, munch. As I've always said, I'd be thrilled to play in the UK anytime the UK will have me ... all I need is an invitation.

The line up could be anything from solo piano to piano with orchestra, or anything in between. It all comes down to logistics and finance.

I'd like to think that would be possible, but as you can imagine, your voice in this speaks much louder than mine. So please feel free to speak up as loudly as possible!

All the best,
Fred
