Speaker plugs

I've just opened my new xdem Nait5 and discovered that the speaker plugs are missing from the box. I know that the warning not to use 4mm banana plugs looks pretty serious, but if I were to do so until the shop opens again on Tuesday is there there any chance of doing irreparable damage? I would dearly love to get this thing cranked up.
