What about Spectrum?

Isn't it convienient that SPacemen 3 SPlit into SPiritualised and SPectrum, so they can all be filed together on the shelves ?

Oh yes. Especially 'Any Way That You Want Me', and the 'Lazer Guided Melodies' and 'Fucked Up Inside' albums. AWTYWM is now available again on a compilation I think.

Check out 'The Perfect Prescription' for an intro into Spacemen 3 too.

Love 'em.

Also Spacemen, Spectrum and - one for David this – a group Sonic was in for a bit called (something like) Electronic Audio Research. I've got a CD by them lying around somewhere!

I love the CD they did which was like a giant prescription pill, didn't that win an award or something?

havn't heard there music much though, perhaps I should try?

If you are lucky, you can fit the Sonic Boom album alongside too, with it's trippy cover and play at any speed EP. Sadly, having an LP12 means I have only ever played it at 33rpm.

Alex, iiyama,

Thank you both. I've just ordered "Forged Prescriptions" with unreleased material (although I'm not sure what exactly).

Kevin,

Yes, I have the Electronic Audio Research records. Can't file them under 'SP' though.

Another crosslink - Have you tried 'The Koner Experiment' where they collaborated with Thomas Koner?
