NAT 01 - Quick Help

Hi there!

I'm about to purchase a 1985 NAT 01 with only a few hours left for my decision.
How big is the difference between the 85 and the 86 model, as naim changed the tuner head in 86?
How much would a 85 unserviced NAT 01 allowed to be?
Please help!!!
The current price is 1700 DM - around 530 GBP

Go for it fast. It's a steal at that price.

You could even get it modified and updated by Nain and still be quids in.

It was an ebay auction - as a friend of mine had his farewell party tonight I was away when it ended - a bidder from the netherlands made it.
The price it was sold at was 2110DM - around GBP 700. Too expensive for me - now.
I´ll have more luck next time.
