Naim vTuner

Posted by: Develyn on 18 December 2009

When using the vTuner for my Uniti, I cannot seem to see my saved favorites. Can anyone provide a tutorial to make this happen?

PS. I have no problem Adding Stations but when picking from the list of stations and saving them as a favorite, I don't see it on my Uniti.

Feeling a bit dumb here. But the link says to goto a web address and put the mac address of your uniti in.

Is this not throwing you right open to the nasties?

When you create these favourites how do they get past your routers firewall etc to store them onto the uniti?

I am sure its fine like, just interested to know.

I've tried the steps provided by Malcolm Steward, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Has anyone else had success adding favorites from vTuner?

I think it is a Naim site. Here is the link. http://naim.vtuner.com

My impression is they don't. I am not 100% sure, but suspect they are accessed by the Uniti on Naim's server. This is internet radio after all, so there is no need to store very much locally.

Yes I manage to add the American Country Classics AAC stream on irandrs.com Smile I did find that I needed the http:// at the beginning of the URL.
