I like to buy a record of Janis Ian/breaking silence ( on vinyl )

People say Amazon is good, but i don't see vinyl. How can i find it?

Or is here another site where i can order nice vinyl?

Hi Robbert

These ( Diverse Vinyl) + ( Stamford Audio)) places are in England but send stuff overseas, might be expensive though. Hope this helps.

Closer to home. I've used the following and have been happy with the service.

www.villavinyl.de/

www.audiophile-vinyl.de/index.php

Hi Robbert!
Seems like the whole Janis' production is available only on cd.
But i've found this 180 gram release still in stock.
Hurry up!
Are you ready for the price?

This is a serious record.I have it on CD as well butb the vinyl is one of the best and most complete albums I have bought in some time.
I got mine from elusive disc in the states. I paid under £20 including postage. Stamford audio list it for about £27+postage. Try Diverse. Their prices are more reasonable.
Its worth the wait.

Janis Ian, is a very thoughtful, intelligent and talented singer/songwriter in my opinion.

Jesus Scotty, you must be rolling in it if you shop with EIL....I've always found them really expensive. Good stock though.

Robbert, go to Plexus in Delft (Voldersgracht) and ask Martin to order your stuff.

I order regularly vinyl at Da Capo. They don´t show "Breaking Silence" in the shop, but they´re very friendly and helpful and are used to get any requested record possible.

I did a quick search for Janis Ian in other places, but only found "Billie´s bones" and hundreds of "Conny van den Bos sings Janis Ian"...

In Amazon, put the word "vinyl" into the search box. Up pops a three page list. Better is to browse by format- music tab then scroll the browse list on the left to the bottom and you will see vinyl. I have found Amazon very good value if they have what you want but have never seen audiophile title for sale.

Hi Robbert,

What abut this place:-

Sounds music store in Rotterdam (Korte Hoogstraat 24)

I checked my credit card receipt as I bought Dave Gilmour's LP from here in September ( i think that was the shop). This is with my amazing 3 day knowledge of Rotterdam - my wife was pretty upset that I sniffed out a record shop in the time I was there :-)
