NAP 250 Servicing

Hi,
My 250 is approaching the 11 year mark and I was wondering what to do with it.
I'm not sure whether to send it in for servicing
or start looking for a new model.
As I've not had the opportunity to hear a more recent model, is there much of a sonic difference?
