To be fair I am not a trainspotter myself although I do like letting the train take the strain. Smile The website was mentioned in an article in the London freebie paper, Metro, yesterday. I know there are several train type obsessed people here so I thought I'd post it.

I admit being one of the lurking train lovers.

The webcam reminds me of what one of the old German Astra satellite stations used to broadcast instead of a test card, they just stuck a camera in the front of a train and ran the footage all night. And just to say I didn't sit there are watch.

I have suggested to my partner that she contact (the brilliant) http://www.nicecupofteaandasitdown.com/ and see if they would like a roving correspondent on the tea rooms at model rail shows and preserved railways. She thought the cake at the Shipley show a couple of weeks ago was excellent and very reasonably priced. Manchester this weekend.
