Anyone else heard the new album 'Lost In Space'?

I've had it 2 weeks now. It is a bit more lush and 'produced' than Bachelor No 1 but of consistent quality. The lyrics are as sharp as ever. Only criticism I would have is that the pace is all rather similar and it lacks a real standout track with just that extra touch of invention. Worth a spin if you like her other stuff without doubt.

Couldn't have put it better myself! This is one for existing fans, not newcomers (they would be better with 'Definitely Maybe' which is one stand out song after another). Lost in Space is no disappointment though, Aimee Mann is about that voice and those lyrics and these are both on great form on the album.

i bought the new album a few weeks ago, but have only managed to listen to it once so far. much as you guys have already said, it sounds pretty good, but maybe without the stand-out tracks that bachelor no 2 has.

b no2 is a great album though, and was listening to it on tghe minidisk on the way to work this morning...
