Boxes on Separate Shelves?

Posted by: Jonathan on 27 May 2002

I have a soundstyle stand with CD2, 82, 2 x hicap and 250 each on their own shelf. Im shortly getting an AV2 and NAP175 and wondered if anyone had advice on where I could double stack them?

I thought to put the AV2 on top of the 82 and 175 on top of the 250 to keep preamps and amps together. Even doing this there is 3 inches above the top item.

Thanks

Jonathan

ps: its a soundstyle 3 leg stand that used to be able to be extended upwards - that was until it was discontinued!

Get another stand, or a wallshelf.

The locations you suggest seem the most sensible to me. Shame about the Soundstyle - are you sure they couldn't make you the extended bits? Soundstyle are still around.

Of course, you may want to go the non-metal route and get yourself an alternative stand such as Isoblue or Hutter. That would improve things as well.

Frank.

Or Quadraspire Reference or Mana.
