Ballads with Trane, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones

Keith Jarrett's Tribute collection on two CD's

The Beatles - White Album Demos. A horrible sounding but truly magical bootleg.

Ken: also own the "Alone Together" - bought it on recommendation of a Konitz aficionado, but I still have some way to go until I like it the way it reportedly deserves ...

Cheese - may all beings be happy smile

Faves? All sorts of things at the Islay Jazz Festival, where you can mix great music with sensational whisky. Standouts included a great boogie to Salsa Celtica, a wonderful set from Suzanne Bonnar with just double bass or guitar accompaniment, and Trio AAB pushing the boundaries a bit further. I've ordered the Caber Music sampler and will be making purchases...
