Computer chair - suggestions

Posted by: David McN on 02 April 2005

I have a cheap office chair at home which I use for sitting at my desk when using my computer (iMac). It is not doing my back any favours. Any sugestions please for a good chair to sit at while working at the computer, good back support and plenty of adjustment options essential. Thanks David

This is for 24 hours computer insane use.

I got one from Viking Direct, a leather faced one from their Executive range - cost around £50 and does the job OK, far better than the operators chair I used previously. Worth a look -

What a coincidence! I have one of these! But mine is the the latest Mk11AR-SE (recycling model) in snow-white Connolly leather (only another £3.7K but worth every penny!) You only have to do it once. So you might as well do it right.

Just be sure to place it right in the "sweet spot" so you can enjoy the "air" in your music at the same time.

BTW: I found a flat screen is virtually essential to avoid nasty steroids.

Mozart's Trombone Concerto in B Major [K666] is a personal favorite while browsing first thing in the morning.

Go to go!

Does this keep a record of how often it's used?

You don't know how much a thatch chair can change a man's life.
