Coaxial Antenna Cable

Posted by: Jonas_Bj on 10 February 2002

I wonder wich coaxial cable i should use for my tuner? There's so much coaxial cables, so that's why I'm asking. Right now there's a standard KTV 75ohm coaxial cable. Is this cable OK for usage?
Btw, I only have a NAD 412 Tuner.

I use the 'KOKA 799 Digital' cable. Forget about the word "Digital", that's marketing crap. The plugs are KOKWI 3.

those plugs look like a good idea - assuming they are terminated in the same material as my nat02 socket (doesnt say in the product info).

didnt look hard enough i guess, but can one order these KOKWI plugs from that web site? minimum 50?

i have found my local distributor. i will ring them tomorrow to order a few KOSWI-3's.

many thanks for mentioning this. i like the fact that the conduncting wire is very securely fixed -- i.e screwed in. i recall when i had the man from ron smith arials, he wants happy about soldering the signal wire inside the plug connector male member -- and he didnt like the idea of soldering it. screwing seems like a better idea, (sorry!!).

Next thing will be an MD ST2 antenna. That's for sure!

Hmm, is that one expensive? And what's a good antenna for the money? Some examples?
