I think it's the basic plastic jobbie. The flash comes "for free" with the 552 (while stocks last). I think the logic is that people who have one will probably have both and who needs two $1000 (NZD) remote controls eh ? It was a greater disappointment to me that they discontinued the steak knife offer shortly before I got my new gear.

Yup - I had one with my CDS2 and never used it.(Not even for what Garyi seems to have used his for!)

It's the grey Narcom remote that comes along with your shiny new toy.
The CDS3 is so good though you'll barely notice the remote!
