Car Boot Music

Car boot sales are a music lovers paradise.
Yesterday i picked up 3 classical LPs for £1.00
CDs for 50p-£1.00 each, in all 4LPs and 3CDS for £4.50 a bargain indeed. Just don't get injured in the rush.

Sounds great, Chris. Boot sales seem to have died a death around here, though, mainly due to ebay I guess.
I have picked up some nice examples in charity shops for a quid apiece, though.

ChillKram,
You obviously frequent a very high class of charity shop. My favourite local one sells LP's at £0.35 - some very good stuff, too.

Audio cassettes you can't give away, and VHS video not much better, pay no more than 50p. CD's seem to be slipping down, probably 2 pound max unless it is a recent issue. Downloading and bootlegs seem to have knocked the stuffing out of second hand prices and retail isn't much better, if you go into say HMV in Oxford Street it's a mere shadow of what it used to be.
