Flatcap 2 advice needed

Hi

I've just bought a CD5 and am hopeing to add a flatcap 2 in the next few weeks. My question is do the necessary leads come with the flatcap 2 so I can connect it to the CD5 or do I have to purchase the lead separately? If I have to buy the lead separately how much does it cost in UK £. I also a little confused with all this grey snaic and black snaic buisness. Is the black snaic the version to get or is this only for higher end Naim equipment such as a Hicap? If there are two versions will it make a difference to what one I buy or the amount they cost? Thanks very much in advance.

Hi Freckles,

don't be afraid, the right connection will be shipped with your FC2.

SNAICs are different stuff and not needed or able to be used with CD5/FC2.

If you have trouble with installation feel free to contact me via email, but I think it is not a hard job to do so and very good described in the owner manuals, which are also available from the naim's website for free download (@see: http://www.naim-audio.com/products/intro_manuals.html).

Asides I have the same stuff - CD5/FC2 with NAIT2 as amplification - and still have to say that adding the FC2 was a _REAL_ big upgrade ;-)
