England v S Africa, Durban

Posted by: Bruce Woodhouse on 29 December 2009

37 for 2 and four sessions to bat. Could be a nailbiter? Kallis and Smith at the crease an obdurate pair but who knows....

Is it me or are S Africa not quite as fearsome as I expected? i don't think we are playing that well but the one dayers looked fairly even and the tests are certainly proving that way too.

I wish I had Sky sometimes!

76 for 6
Match delayed by bad light - plus looks like rain is possible
- South Africa need 156 with 4 wickets remaining

Durban weather forecast for tomorrow is part cloudy/sun
We might just win

Brilliant

Surely - it has to be Sir Andrew Strauss in the New Year's Honours

I suspect to the South Africans and Australians he's 'king Strauss...

Crawled out of bed, dragging a sleeping bag with me, and fell on the sofa for hour and a half it took to finish off. Really enjoyed it.

Did mange to get a pot of tea and a couple of scones to keep me company. Went back to bed, and slept until noon. A nice day all in all.

Beware .... a protea maybe a flower, but these oke's are not to be confused with their namesakes.
Judging by the tirade of e-mails & sms I got yesterday from my old Windhoek drinking buddies, we have a lion with a thorn in its foot, and it ain't arf angry.
