Happy New Year Adam

Posted by: joesilva on 16 January 2010

Happy New Year and Best Wishes to you Adam. Missed your comments here for a while. Your comments as an Administrator was what many of us grew up on, and I for one am indebted to the knowledge and comradeship that has grown over the years. Looking forward to hearing (reading) more from you in 2010.

Kind regards,

Joe

Just to say Happy New Year to all
- especially those whose company, real and virtual, I have actually enjoyed. Let that be an end to it.

I've been stuck waiting for a series of ill advised deliveries through DHL Agen. I seem more likely to be struck by an asteroid than encounter a DHL driver in the flesh. So - I wait, neurotically attentive and music-less locked to the unspeaking telephone.

A gentler man would divert himself by directing his cross-hairs onto the rear paddock kill-zone but there have been some bureaucratic fuss with getting my XM214 Automatic (Minigun) registered for sporting use so I thought I'd drop by here.

Once my m/c hand protectors, "professional" Allen Set, Patagonia fleece, left side flange grommet and piling swivel (which in my case I have not got) arrive I shall again be complete.
Upon that day the little hens need fear neither hawk nor whoopee cushion.

And, as it's safely beyond the festive season, a couple of geek cracker jokes.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who get binary and those who ......

why do software engineers get Halloween and Christmas mixed up?

because Oct 31 == Dec25.

So, tomorrow morning, you have what to do after firing?

Truly, you are wasted here, Adam.

Thanks for the Oct/Dec gag - I can't wait to tell my geek mates.

Adam,

Are you still living in France?

How about a few posts on the Nice Pictures thread - It's a beautiful part of the world where I think you are still living!
