Hi there,

Just thought I'd let everyone know about Ben Taylor's CD "Another Run Around the Sun". Ben Taylor is the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon. His album is absolutely amazing! It's one of those albums you buy and just can't stop listening to. Superb production, some nice deep bass. It's remarkable how much he sounds like his dad vocally, but his music (even though still every much inspired by his dad's style) is more modern, with his own spin on things. I really love it!! Does anyone else have this album??

Delightfully different, a nice recording, and not a copy of Dad's music at all. My (USA) copy is on order.

I saw him live about 5 years ago in a small club in Chicago (Martyrs). He was the opener for Derek Trucks Band. I neither knew who he was nor realized his bloodline until he began to sing, and then my jaw hit the floor. Still, he is very different from his father.
It was a great show then and I bought the current album which was also good.

Yeah, he's just so great. I know he's been on tour in the UK recently, but unfortunately nowhere near me! Must have been brilliant seeing him live. Hopefully he'll come back here very soon!!!

Really do recommend the album to anyone who likes acoustic, singer-songwriter stuff.
