UnitiQute & Ipod via front panel USB
Posted by: Develyn on 12 November 2010
When I connect my iTouch (latest software version 4.1) to my Qute via front panel USB, songs play but only for a few seconds then stops. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I had the same problem with some FLAC files on the Uniti. Didn't have time to get to bottom of it as Uniti has gone back to HQ for the upgrade.
DID find out, though, that converting the files to WAV got them to play perfectly.
Might be a problem with the files?
I'll have a better idea when the Uniti returns.
(Not a lot of help there - sorry!)

I have the same problem myself and assumed it was something to do with the iTunes/iPhone 4.1 update problem.

This is a correct assumption. Awaiting Naim feedback on this matter.

Can anyone provide any information when this will be resolved? I'm asking because my wife wants to use this feature for her Ipod. I have no use for it but have to please the wife.

iOS 4.2 should be out shortly - Uniti family works perfectly with 3.x devices, for what it's worth.

Just installed iOS 4.2. Will try out on my Qute whether the problem is solved.
