Active or passive Isobariks

My System is as follows Lp12/ekos2/arkivB/armageddon/prefix, CDS2/XPS, 252/Supercap2, 135's, 2x250's(olive), Snaxo/Supercap, Isobariks cica '88. ( the 135's are on the treble) OK the question is should run the briks off the passive crossovers, sell the snaxo etc and buy a nap 300. It would cut down the number of boxes which is proving a problem with the missus. Now If I were to stay active buying 3 new 250's would be pretty expensive, considering what I have to sell. So should I stay active or go passive?

Good though the 300 is, I don't think it will be as satisfying to use as your current active set up. If you must go back to a single amp, you should be looking at a single 500 - there have been some used ones appearing at £6,995-7,500. It might also be interesting to hear a Dynavector HX1.2 (I think that's the correct nomenclature) as it's got loads of grunt.

The Brik's were made for going active.

Even though the 300 is a very good amp your not going to beat the Brik's in active mode!
