Soul Fans!

This is not a new release but it's new to my collection. As I listen I am absolutely blown away and enjoying it so much I just wanted to *share the love*. If a new release came out with this high of a proportion of superb tunes it would be a "must buy".

I'm speaking of the Stax Soul Singles, Vol. 2 box set. This volume covers the years 1968-1971. Absolutely cool.

Highly recommended, soul fans.

Well, I couldn't resist, so I just grabbed a copy online. I prolly paid much too much, but the reviews were pretty convincing. Fingers crossed.

You're going to want volumes 1 and 3 also.

I suggest you start out with disk 5. It's my favorite so far.
