The Old, Old Forum

Paul, Doug,

Now that we are on Version 3 of the Naim Forum, can I be awkward and remind you that when version 2 was introduced, there was discussion over the loss of the wealth of valuable information from the original forum, including many gems from Julian. I recall vague promises of making it available at some stage as an archive.

Any chance of this happening? Even if it could be placed on a server for a short period for interested parties to download for their own use.

I know that there has been a compilation of Julian's posts available somwhere, but without the questions and other side of the discussions, it doesn't always make sense.

If this is not possible, could it be offered for sale on DVD ROM discs - presumably it would not need too many to fit onto?

Its a fitting time to raise the question again! we have had no luck to date with our contact in California.
I am due a visit later this year and I will see if I can make some progress, it does not look very good right now!
Had we known that no co-operation was the case we would have copied the lot ourselves.

Paul,

Thanks for replying. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your man in America can help when you go over. Are there any forum members Stateside who might be able to help in the meantime?

Just bringing this back to the front row.

Paul, are you still planning on going to California or has this trip taken place already?

If this is the case, any luck tracking down the people who may have the data from the old old forum???

Smile

just following up!
