Thanks,

After coming to the realization that the 552 will cost circa 40,000 cdn, I've changed my mind and think that the RCAs are a good thing. At that price I'd bloody well expect to be able to plug whatever I want into it.

I'm interested to see if the 552 synergizes with foreign sources better than Naim's previous models, a factor that lead to the "all non-Naim CDPs are crap" theory.

Linn use to call that "input sensitivity". It's implementation led to the LK1, the phase-corrected generation of Brik and Sara nine.....oh boy.

dave

P.S. enjoy Jim!!

On a remotely tangential topic, does anyone know if the old issues of the newsletter are archived anywhere (presuming they are in some electronic format such as PDFs)? If they are not archived, but are electronic, could someone please let me know where I can grab them from.

Thanks.

nana has (so far) the coolest SL2 pic
till the manual becomes available...
does one slide out the top cabinet like a sleeve (around the tweet arm) and back when moving the sl2 ?
anyone got a pic of the rear side of the cabinets and know the distance b/w the floor spikes ?
thanks
