Eric Bibb - recommendations?

Any EB fans,

I recently bought "Spirit & the Blues" some of which I really like, but overall there is a bit too much gospel for an old sinner like me.

How do some of his other albums compare?

I've got most if not all his albums and my fav would be 'Natural Light'. Not gospely and contains a number of strong tunes and as usual very well recorded.

Catch him live in the next few weeks if you can.

I would recommend:-

Home To Me
Natural Light
Painting Signs
Spirit and the Blues

Got some other stuff but the above are the best IMO. Take John's recommendation and catch him live if you can, he is very good. Going to the Manchester gig myself.

Hi Jack,

Thanks - I've ordered "Natuaral Light" as John recommended.

Spirit & the Blues I found a bit too much gospel - I'm not a believer and even EB's enthusiasm won't stop my cynicism getting in the way. The other tracks I really enjoyed.
