Naim amplifier and cables

Hi
I´ve got plans to buy a Nait 5 amplifier!My doubt:I have VDH CS 122 cables wich I like a lot,very detailed and punch;Should I change it for a NACA5?Well I presume some of you owned very nice cables,like Kimber;Qued etc and when have bougth a Naim amplifier this technic problem happens!What is the best way?Try another cables like Kimber,Qued or go straigthway to NACA5?Ah my speakers are B&W 601 S2

Hi Nuno - congrats on the Naim purchase I'm sure you'll get years of use out of it. I don't think you'll get a debate on the required cables - go for the NACA5....

Nuno, the party line here is NACA5. I have a Nait 5 with B&W CDM1se. If you want I don't see a reason why you shouldn't use the VdH, it's a similiar structure to the NACA5. I've owned VdH cables and used them with the CDM1Se, but not with the Nait. I decided to get NACA5, in single wire configuration, but using the speaker cable to connect the treble to the bas/mid section (I presume the 601 is biwirable). The nait 5/Naca5 to the B&Ws is the most satisfying combination I have owned in the three years since I bought the B&Ws. My wife confirms it too.
