Interesting read and Yup - £50 a week min spend here as well but I only buy vinyl.
DVD's are an investment? That's news.
P - not ashamed of being 45 with medium long rapidly greying hair.

I'm more the 50 year old £75 guy, and I wouldn't be seen dead with a Queen or Duran Duran record, and they haven't recognised we like to buy high quality recordings to go with our Linn/Naim systems - but otherwise they are getting uncomfortably close.

Yes, but...I hate Friends and Lost In Translation was a big disappointment...and...OK, yes it's me. By the way, the Anthony Beevor seminar I went to at the Rye Festival was utterly fascinating....

A funny kind of film where not much happened, but I think it did have it's charm.

Hi Peter,
Yes I'd agree but I don't think it lived up to the hype. I remember reading a US review when it first came out and thinking that this was a film that really needed to be seen. I was very disappointed that it turned out to be a few funny scenes but essentially no more than 'nice'.

I think this would probably apply to many on this forum. It certainly is close to the money as far as I'm concerned.

djc,
I fit the stereotype to some extent, but I am more like the £200 a time, not £500!
Is this per shop or per session?
