Thanks, dear Naim, for hosting this Music Room.

If many of us run partly or full Naim gramophones, then that will be for good reason, but really the best part of this forum is The Music Room.

In this room, I have learned musical humility, and how to enthuse without irritating too man others - though I have done so in the past ...

I have also found some of the best music making here, through many posts, not the least from pe zulu, RdS, Todd, and Tam, but also many many others, who have thrown in ideas of sheer marvel ...

Thanks to Naim, for whom this section can only be a cost, and please let us wish the company' and particularly this part of the forum a long and healthy life.

Sincerely, George

Thanks from me too. naim has provided an ideal outlet for my musical adventures. it is entertaining to read, and satisfying to contribute to.

you provided both the equipment and the discourse. no one could ask for more.

What have you heard George? The other forums closing down?

Dear Howard!

You made me smile wildly! I would be the last person to hear something like that!!

No, I was just pondering what a lovely section this really is and how amazing that it should be hosted by Naim with no obvious benefit to the company. That is particualrly nice in this time where cut-throat competitiveness seems the motivation for most company's every action.

Just to echo George's sentiments, this is a lovely place to discover music, or to hear others feelings about recordings and concerts you have experienced.

Sometimes I am amazed that I am now someone who is lucky enough to have a Naim amp (and CD player), something I would not have expected as a teenager when I first got into music and Hi-fi.

Thank you Naim.

Jamie

PS. A handmade Dawes Galaxy touring bike can also go alongside side the Naim amp in terms of things I wanted as a teenager. I wonder if Dawes have a forum too, I suspect not.

You guys make this forum what it is - so it our users we should be thanking! It is a really good way for us to keep in touch with what our peers are enthusiastic about.

Personally, I wish I had time to post more often on some of the more conversational topics, and join in the fun!

Keep it up guys! Smile

I have to agree George its nice to be able to pick all the Classical music lovers brains on the subject before I splash out on any CD's because it can be a minefield for the uninitiated and just flicking through threads of newer composers I'd like to explore is great as well.

It is a great gift to us from Naim, although it has cost me a lot of money over the years I have been reading it. Money usually well spent though!
