Marah. Yeah!. Love 'Kids in Philly'
First heard 'Round eyes blues' on an Uncut free CD... had to get the album. It was a bit of a grower for a few months but wouldn't be without it now.

Just listened to Beatles' White Album and Hendrix Electric Ladyland once each for the last 4 days. Great fun and rock on both albums and they are dubles which has always been notoriously difficult to fill without a bit of boredom in there somewhere.

What I'm playing a lot ends to be what I've recently bought, rather than necessarily "crucial" in the longer term sense.

Right now it's the new Crim album, "The Power to Believe". I wouldn't say it's great in a timeless sense but it's pretty damn good all the same, with "Dangerous Curves" and the rather hilarious "Happy with what you have to be happy with" hooked well into my head when I'm away from home.

Also have been loaned Aged Pages by Mark Anthony McGrath which is rather splendid solo guitar album. Must ask the lender where he got it, 'cause I can't find it on the 'net and want it!
