Mana's Curriculum Mortuum

Posted by: Alex S. on 31 August 2001

Mana's recent roll call of honour includes:

Pink Floyd, Kate Bush, Embrace, Roger Waters, Jeff Beck, Swiss National TV, Finlandia Radio, The Millenium Dome.

What further recommendation could one possibly need?

So is this what the government meant by saying it was 'well supported'?

Look at the spin on that! wink

Oi! I am (thankfully) singular. One could obviously use that list to highlight all the people who choose not to use Mana wink

Incidentally Alex S forgot to include Paul McCartney, who I believe uses Mana to support his bass amp whilst recording. And whilst you can blame the guy for some of the most drippy songs made over the past 31 years, I won't hear a bad word said against his bass playing.

Blimey the Dome is not much of an advert. Embrace are bland and the last Kate Bush album was a terrible recording!

I for one would be really interested in what the major players in the field of rock, and classical, have for their setups? Anybody know if Naim is used by them?

Just think of all those outrageous estates they own and all the rooms they have to push sound around in. But then, they probably never talk of such things, it's too far below their radar and concerns of star parties, trips and events they must attend take presidence. Sigh!
