How far away from the cities will the Airports be?

Then it'll be extra to: book on-line, pay by CC, take luggage, actually sit in the seat, drink something, eat something, go for a wee............

With all due respect to any Ryanair crew here, Going cheap through Europe is one thing. Its only a couple of hours flying time, never more than 30 mins from a diversion airport, not so much scope for things to go wrong.
But on a longhaul flight, there is FAR more scope for problems. More people crammed in, the meagre facilities would become more apparent, etc etc. I don't think I'd try it.

You forgot: sit on the inside of the plane £10, for general oxygen £20 , for emergency oxygen £ 4.72 - correct change only, £15 per kilo over the 5 kilo luggage allowance, £10 per kilo for your if your over size zero, £20 for a life belt under your seat, £17.27 for use of the emergency exit slides - insert correct change on exit, if the temperature is over ambient then please add 23p temperature allowance calculated at time of leaving the aircraft - no change given.

And they they may do business class - we have 100% flat beds that start with sleeping bags on the floor the rest is up to you!

And have you seen the price to come back?????
Posted on: 03 November 2008 by Tony Lockhart
'Travel experts' (what's the qualification for that?) estimate the cheapest tickets will be around £200. That's more believable.

I don't think so. O'Leary has already said that the £8 economy price will be subsidised by (in his words) very expensive business class.

But the government's little additions will boost the price no end. I just did a quick check on BA's website for a RETURN and got this:

Tony,
I take your point about taxes/surcharges etc.
The only thing I'd add is to say that to fly LHR to JFK with a major airline for £280 return or so is actually pretty cheap travel.
Matt.

Yep. If there's one thing that O'Leary is an expert at it's creating free advertising for his company. BA should take another look at their marketing people.

Oh, and of course O'Leary is pretty sharp at buying aircraft for next to nothing, once life-time operating costs are taken into account.

I hate him, but he's an incredible businessman.

I would never fly with Ryanair because of their dreadful customer service.

A guy is sitting in the bar in departures at a busy airport. A
beautiful woman walks in and sits down at the table next to him. He
decides because she`s got a uniform on, she`s probably an off-duty
flight attendant. So he decides to have a go at picking her up by
identifying the airline she flies for, thereby impressing her greatly.
He leans across to her and says the Delta Airlines motto "We love to fly and it shows".

The woman looks at him blankly. He sits back and thinks up another
line. He leans forward again and delivers the Air France motto
"Winning the hearts of the world". Again she just stares at him with a
slightly puzzled look on her face. Undeterred, he tries again, this
time saying the Malaysian Airlines motto "Going beyond expectations".

The woman looks at him sternly and says "What the f*** do you want?"
"Ah!" he says, sitting back with a smile on his face. "Ryanair"
