Dear Sniper,

You wrote:

"This is clear in my view. Why you seem to think I am attempting to speak on your behalf or anyone else’s is a mystery to me."

You had earlier written:

"No, I said 'we'. 'We' being the forum."

I am a member of the forum.

It is hard to see how there can be any other interpretation of the words that you have written.

I think you should choose your words with greater care if you are to avoid giving a meaning you do not intend.

It is conceivable to me that you have written a meaning you do not actually mean, in which case I accept the explanation of what you did mean, and an apology would suffice for your seeming original meaning - "that you were speaking for me, among many others."

If you are going to be trenchant, then you also need to be precise, if you are to avoid causing vexation.

Yours sincerely, GFFJ

GFFJ,

I have your comments carefully. I do not think I can not simplify matters any further. Your vexations are your problem not mine. It is clear you are reading my comments through a filter of previously accumulated vexations which had blinded you to the clarity of my words which have none of the meaning you impute to them. I am sure you are a decent enough chap and I wish well but I see no point in continuing this dialogue.

I thought it was forum protocol to not criticize people placed here in the "Care in the Forum" scheme.

"I have your comments carefully" - WTF does that mean?

Also, I must offer my support to George, in that I concur that "We" is inclusive and not selective.
You may not be able to simplify matters further but you can certainly confuse them. But then, you knew I was going to write that.
Regards,
Steve.

If you read the headline and the article it’s obvious.

Even a child of 10 would know what the missing word was. 'I have READ your words carefully'. I asked my 7 year old niece what the missing word was and she got the right answer in approx. 10 seconds but English is not her native language.

As for the rest...well..yes I predicted as much. If you found my clarification confusing I recommend you embark on some additional schooling.

This thread illustrates very well a type of stupidity prevalent in some threads here. All I said was 'I have predicted many things that come true'.

I knew full well that various people would seize on this and add more to it than is there to further a personal agenda.

I am sure that all those people who made negative comments (the usual suspects as predicted)have predicted various things that have come true - who would win an election for example and yet when I say 'I have predicted many things that come true' they leap on it add all kinds of scenarios like a bunch of chumps. Being able to predict various things (such as who will win an election) shows good judgement so either you have to admit that you too have predicted various things which have come true (thus showing you are just like me) or you show yourself to have poor judgement. Of course this did not stop the people from jumping in and making fools of themselves (again). Right from my first post on this thread (and others)I've just been having a laugh at how predictable you are.

Anyway, I'm bored now.

I don't believe you just asked that, you old wind up Hammer you. Have quick search. He was here a lot, then suddenly he was gone. He may once have mentioned music or Hi Fi during his many musings, but if he did, it was accidental.

You have even managed to misquote yourself. I fear that it is not only a word missing where you are concerned. I suspect you are also missing coherence and intelligence.

Regards, (to the other forum members),
Steve.
