Motor bike "scottoiler " question

Hi, i have run my scottoiler dry, i have refilled the reservoir but cant get the oil flowing to the chain, any ideas

Did you set the metering valve to prime?

Thanks, i will check that out.I cant see all of the reservoir in situ so will lift it out.
