What gesture or mannerism have you noticed doing and thought the dreaded.....'Oh my god, I'm turning into my father?'
For me it's an involuntary grunting noise when getting up off the sofa.
Any others??

For me it's looking at a beautiful, high ceiling and wondering how much it costs to heat the room.

Looking at a wonderfully landscaped large garden and wondering how long it would take to mow the grass.

Tch!! Call that music?
Oh, BTW - the grunting noise when you bend over to pick something up is just part of being middle-aged. You have to do it, it's in the contract...

dad is 88 now and stooped, I'm walking stooped so I can talk with him and watch his every step since he's unsteady even using a cane. When I get home I'm still walking stooped and have to make an effort to square my shoulders and look up.
Now I'm worrying about his wattle under the chin and keep feeling if mine is appearing.

I am turning into my father a bit, but although physically similar, we are really very different in many ways.
He has absolutely no interest in music at all. He doesn't hate it, he just doesn't care.
