Earwicker,
Very tasty! Can't quite make out the headstock - loooks like a PRS?
Regards

Yeah, it's a PRS Soapbar II and it's bloody amazing! An amazing guitar at a truly amazing price. I was going to buy a Strat but saw sense...

My neighbours must be pretty pissed at me tonight! Ah sod them, that's a serious axe and there's no point slinging it quietly!

Congratulations!
Slightly off-topic but I listened to an hour of Les Paul in a radio interview with snatches of his superb playing over many years. He recounted his long struggle to get his early designs accepted by Gibson, his meeting with Leo Fender and their close friendship over the years. Fascinating stuff. I never got beyond simple finger-style and half a dozen chords. But I made several guitars just for fun when I was young. None of which were remotely as beautiful as EW's work of art.

Les Paul was a very previous guitarist, ahead of his time in many respects. His technique is still impressive even by today's standards (especially so, some may argue). The same applies to his guitars. The Les Paul is still one of the best axes around and the design remains fundamentally his. There's a trajectory running straight from Les Paul to PRS, who have blended perfectly the best qualities of the old and the new: the aesthetics, quality, style and tone of the past with the electronics, playability and tuning stability of the present.
