DVD Player recommendations

I want to buy a new DVD player to replace a piece of crap VHS/DVD combi ... I don't really want to spend much over £500 and i sort of fancy Denon

Will be hooked up to Loewe LCD but no home theatre set up

Have done no research but can anyone give me a head start and suggest a few players

Thanks

Andy

Hi Andy,
I have been using a NAD dvd player for the last 18 months, very good picture and sound, which is inherited from there amps.
You can get them for a very reasonable price (around £150 upwards)and they have a 2 year guarantee.
Hope this helps,

I'd look at the Denon 1930 or if you must spend more the 2930, although for the use described I'd have thought the 1930 should be more than sufficient!
