Now there is a rumour of a VAT cut in the UK, most people will hold off expensive purchases until this cut takes effect…
That means, in the mean time, an impending retail sales crash.
This is very much like what happened when stamp duty removal was rumoured from the government which promptly inflamed the housing market collapse.
If they’re going to do it, they should really get on with it! : )
