Elgar No. 2 and LSO

Anyone else heard the 2002 release of this piece. Just listened to it once after purchase, but sounded pretty flabby and unfocused. How are these LSO live CD's in general, they certainly are inexpensive.

Yes they are cheap and the sound is less than ideal - at least that's what I thought of Colin Davis's recording of Les Troyens. From what I've read, sound is somewhat of a problem with these releases. Performance quality is top-notch, though. The Les Troyens recording is simply amazing.
