Posted by: Ridzwan on 30 January 2007
It's about time for Naim to upgrade this forum to a better outlook like the Naim's main website. Almost all forums now the user can anytime put a signature (Naim only for selected member...biased?). Even most forums also the member can put their avatar and in DIY forum, the country flag will automatically reflected below your name.
Lots of improvement in Naim chains and this need to be changed too...
This would be my avatar if thing going to be implemented....
cheers

It's in a pipe - no worries.

Do not go that way young hobbit:
"Pippin: Gandalf, forgive me.
Gandalf: Look at me. What did you see?
Pippin: A tree. There was a white tree in a courtyard of stone. It was dead. The city was burning.
Gandalf: Minas Tirith? Is that what you saw?
Pippin: I saw... I saw him. I can hear his voice in my head.
Gandalf: What did you tell him? Speak!
Pippin: He asked me my name. I didn't answer. He hurt me.
Gandalf: What did you tell him about Frodo and the Ring?"
Gandalf ought to have known that young master Took had never been to Minas Tirith so how would he have been expected to know what it looked like? That Gandalf was not as smart as he's cracked up to be imo but I guess he had a lot on his mind at the time and so he can be excused.

I agree.
For starters, should the Catholic and Anglican adoption societies be exempted from compliance with the law concerning child adoption by sodomites and lesbians?

On the other hand, maybe we've just come to the end of the line.

Is this Sodomising heterosexuals or sodomising homosexuals?
Is Sodomising actually turning a piece of turf into 'room fragrance' and spraying?
Not quite adoption but the God fearing Betty Roe and her husband are thankfully away to prison
Story here
Hey there is good and bad in all sectors of society.

I think the answer depends on whether the risk of the adopted child being abused is greater in the adoptive family or in care. The odds aren't great either way.

No, these societies should NOT be exempt from ANY law which Parliament has passed. Same applies to other societies and organisations both with respect to this law and to all other laws.
However, if these societies have VERY strong objections to the law as it stands, they have the right to peaceful protest and lobbying, with a view to changing the law regarding the rights of sodomites and lesbians.
In my opinion sodomites and lesbians should be banned from child adoption. In fact, IMO they should be outlawed full-stop.

A nice, definite statement - there is a large percentage of humanity that, based on their "orientation" you would like to be "outlawed" and you feel should not be able to adopt children. Your opinion.
A firmly held opinion and one for which I have no time. My opinion.

Any ideas how you want them outlawed? Gas chambers? Shot at dawn?
I thought we had moved on a little from this in our Civilised Society.

The strange thing about homophobes is:
A bunch of them were wired up in a science lab to record the levels of stimulation they experienced whilst watching gay porn and guess what? Yep, each and everyone of them registered greater levels of stimulation than the control group of straight non-homophobes.
What does that tell us I wonder?
Is homophobia associated with homosexual arousal?
While engaging in "debate" please do not indulge in personal insult. This continues to be a strong requirement of membership of this forum.

No. Treat them medically for an unfortunate abnormality.

No. Treat them medically for an unfortunate abnormality.
Will that be Brain Surgery or removal of genitalia? Do you have have to take a quiz about your sexuality or will you just guess by their clothing/haircut?
Maybe a simple test will suit...............
For women.............. Do you wear comfortable shoes and have a short haircut?
for the chaps, I guess a big moustache and valid membership to the Rogers & Hammerstein fan club?
Scipio are you doing the procedure yourself or have you got some medically trained supporters to help?
Who will be next on your hit list - the Disabled, ethnic minorities, Morris Minor drivers, transvestites, Naim owners?

I have no 'hit list'. But it does appear that hormone treatment can help those afflicted with homosexual desires to overcome their unfortunate affliction.

Scipio,
How do you know, have you tried it? Do you write from experience or do you refer to research that you can quote? Can you provide details of any research?

Right you are our Adam I will try to behave myself in future and not ridicule anyone by suggesting they may be homosexual if you think in doing so I would be insulting them. I wouldn't want to be banned from this ere forum.
I wish I had logged on earlier, It would have been amusing to see the reactions. Oh well, I shall content myself with further research into the pathology of homophobia.

I would be intrigued as to what you think your motivation was in when making the suggestion. Unless you are incredibly dense you would have predicted and sought ( I wish I had logged on earlier, It would have been amusing to see the reactions. ) to insult.
You are not a "scamp" but an adult (perhaps, given the anonymity of the internet).
