CD 3.50 Transit screw Etc

Posted by: MarkyB on 19 February 2002

I have just had to dismantle my system to accomodate decoration and moved my cd 3.50 pretty carefully from my stand and am now paranoid that I have damaged it.

Can you easily obtain replacement screws as I have not managed to find it yet.

I have replaced the 3.50 on the top of the rack where my LP12 used to live ( Now in for a service) and have noticed a change to the sound. A bit more harsh I think.

Also can someone tell me the answer to something that has been bugging me for ages. In the Naim manual channel 1 is described as Left and two as Right is this as you look at it ? i.e left channel left ear ?

Thanks

The transit screw in a 3.5 is only there to stop the drawer from falling open so it is unlikely you have damaged it, unless of course the door swung open violently.
