What would happen if I left my hosepipe running for 4 days?

My local water company has a hosepipe ban in place and, as you can see from the web site, encourages people to report leaks.

I reported a leak in the road outside my house on Saturday where they had recently dug up the road.

As yet they have still not repaired it.

Makes you spit doesn't it?

Still I could always bottle it.

'Sudbury Spring' anyone?

Disgraceful indeed - leakage is of course a significant contribution to the shortage.

I'm not sure that this would help much though. Smile

can you direct the leak on to your garden?

Your rhubarb would come on extremely well! Anyone for crumble? Tart maybe?

Nice manipulation of the quote, Paul. I doff my cap to you!

However, I am sure worse things have been bottled and sold to the public.......

Maybe the water company people are Naim users and lurk on this forum?

They have to spend their record profits on something...

Liked the comment about the Heineken!!

Rich.
